I love social media (eh, for the most part). And I find myself less on Facebook and more on Twitter nowadays. I like my news fast and instant. Some of the trending topics are funny and some are mundane.
Yesterday as I celebrated my birthday weekend with the baes (Maks and Bear), I logged onto Twitter and saw my hometown of Palm Springs trending. Yeah, it really doesn't trend so

Amazing how just a short while ago, I said I was doing everything I can to be in the best physical and financial shape before we started trying. Started from the bottom and now we're here.
And now we're...HERE???
Beyonce was last week and let me tell you, the woman can put on an amazing show! Everything from the production to the singing to the dancing....spectacular! The only concert that was
This week, I'm reviewing CozyPhones. I was contacted by them to review their kids' headphones line and I was anxious to do so!
A little bit about CozyPhones from the owner, Paul:
We're a small family-owned business. We started off by selling our sleeping headphones on Amazon, then developed our own brand of fun, comfortable, kids headband headphones and named them CozyPhones™.
We're a veteran owned, U.S. based business. We appreciate each and
So, I like to experiment with my kid's fashion. I'm pretty conservative and basic (yeah, I'll admit it) when it comes to fashion for myself. Honestly, I've always been. I never really put much stock into clothing unless it was for work.
It's funny how having a kid is making me become a bit fashion-conscience. For one, I don't like the idea that Bear is wearing what everyone else is

Several months ago, Maks and I decided to take a break from TTC to focus on Bear and get ourselves together (click here for a refresher).
Despite what anyone tells you, time is fast. Incredibly fast. Like Usain Bolt taking a jog in the 100 meters fast.
As we're steadily approaching the time for us to start trying again, I'm anxiously getting prepared. I'm paying off debt. I'm catching up on
I debuted Rollin' in my Bento last week (click here for a refresher) so here's the progress of the week so far.
Wednesday:
Cheese bites, strawberry slices, and chicken slices. For the recipe of the salad, click here.
Thursday:
I love pizza so I was super jazzed to make this recipe, Portobello-style.
Friday:
I created leftovers from the soybeans and pasta from earlier that week. I also added a fiber bar to give Maks a
The one good thing about the Facebook memories feature is seeing all of the photos you posted from a while back. I came across this gem of me and the bae:
We were married for almost five months at this point. Kinda nuts to see how far we've come along. It's also bittersweet to see where we were in terms of happiness before the heartache. I always say for those
It's funny when you get older, you become a bit more conservative with your funds. I remember the days when I was a college student and I felt I was ballin' with my $10. (Hell, I still feel that way now.) Yet nowadays, with a looming preschool bill coming up, I'm finding different ways to cut back on things I don't really need to do as often as before.
