I love Trader Joe's. While I have to go out of my way to get to one sometimes (and for whatever reason every Trader Joe's seemingly has awful parking), I love the variety and selection of food I can find there.
I want to talk about the Just Chicken package. That's what it is - Just Chicken. No spices, seasoning, or sauces. It's just chicken you can use for

So here's a recap of week two in our semi-vegetarian experiment.
Meal Planning
Meal planning was a lot easier last week than it was the first week. Now that we have an idea on what to eat and not to eat, it was easier to map out dinner. Some of it was still on the fly, but we did stick to the very little poultry plan. I think we had poultry
Okay, so let me start off by saying I personally didn't try this. Not that I didn't want to, but I literally just had Panera and was rather full. However, the hubby was starving and well, we didn't have dinner made at home (that would be my fault).
So, a hungry hubby + not a lot of time = I need to think pretty quickly. Off to Google, I go.

Yes, I know it's been a while since I updated Rollin' in my Bento but I'm back with new ideas and creations for you! Here we gooooooo!
Maks had a company lunch so when I packed him bento that morning, I made it more of a late-breakfast/snack one. The fruit are pineapple and tangerines. The meat is turkey. The croissant is chocolate.

I made honey-soy baked salmon with roasted potatoes and squash.
The salad was leftover chicken Caesar from Panera (and it's hella good!). I also made a ham and cheese sandwich. The dark chocolate and nuts are from Trader Joe's.
The hummus and pretzels actually came
I debuted Rollin' in my Bento last week (click here for a refresher) so here's the progress of the week so far.
Wednesday:
Cheese bites, strawberry slices, and chicken slices. For the recipe of the salad, click here.
Thursday:
I love pizza so I was super jazzed to make this recipe, Portobello-style.
Friday:
I created leftovers from the soybeans and pasta from earlier that week. I also added a fiber bar to give Maks a
Last week, I debuted Bear's bento (click here for a refresher). This week, I'm debuting Maks's.

I purchased the Skater Japanese Modern/Traditional Compartmental Bento Box (ooh, try saying that three times fast!) from Amazon. While I was a bit skeptical about it because I loved Bear's so much, it turned out to be a hit with the hubby!
And as a result, I ended up becoming more creative with
