Trader Joe’s Just Chicken Recipes

I love Trader Joe’s. While I have to go out of my way to get to one sometimes (and for whatever reason every Trader Joe’s seemingly has awful parking), I love the variety and selection of food I can find there.

I want to talk about the Just Chicken package. That’s what it is – Just Chicken. No spices, seasoning, or sauces. It’s just chicken you can use for soups, wraps, salads, or whatever your heart desires.

I found an amazing homemade chicken tortilla soup I used with the chicken, but here are a couple more ideas:

Image is from the Trader Joe’s website.

I decided to try something new for dinner because while we have a pretty healthy diet, it can get rather boring eating the same thing over and over. So I bought the stir fry kit but really, I had no idea what I was going to do with it.

What it looks like in real-life cooked form.

Then I remember the Just Chicken and it was like, voila!

I chopped it up because the Just Chicken came in long strips.

Adding the chicken to the stir fry was no thang at all.

I made this!

The stir fry kit came with its own sauce so I didn’t have to make any or add anything else. All I did was add the chicken. And omggggggggg, it was so yum!

Not the best photo, but I had to get an up close and personal shot.

And for more detail…

So delish!

The next recipe comes in the form of the Trader Joe’s Cruciferous Crunch. Personally like this recipe because I feel I can get all of my yummy, crunchy goodness in one bag. It’s a half-slaw, half-salad and it can be eaten as either a main dish or a side.

Remember all that chicken I just bought?

I had quite a bit left. I chopped it up and made another salad with it, with homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing:

Not pretty but it was damn delicious.

Now these recipes are not vegan-friendly, obviously. However, they are vegetarian-esque friendly (for those who don’t eat red meat or pork but will eat chicken and fish).

So, give it a try! Let me know what you think in the comments! 🙂
