It's been a while since there's been an all-Bo post. Here it is!
Weight: 16 lbs. at last pedi appointment.
Length/Height: 25 inches at last pedi appointment.
Diaper size and type: Size 3, Huggies Little Movers. Still waiting to find balls to try cloth diapering.

What a difference a year makes.
I'm typing this post with a semi-sleepy Yoda on my boob. I'm sure you wanted to know that but you can't deny I've been honest for this long so why hold back now?
A year ago, I found out I was pregnant and I remember I had a flurry of emotions go through me. The biggest emotion was relief. We were trying for a

I need a clone.
Or I need more hours during the day.
I'm still trying to figure out my schedule but the problem is it keeps changing. I think, when I worked full-time, I knew the beginning and end of my day so I was used to continuity. Even when I was pregnant with Bo last year, I had an idea of when he'll kick in the morning, when he'll

So what are you?
That was a question I often asked friends and fellow students who I couldn't figure out their racial identity. Racially-mixed children were rare back then. In a classroom full of kids who were Black, White, Latino, or Asian there was always one kid (and it was usually one kid) who was racially ambiguous.
Not so much anymore.
I've gone to college with people who biracial and not just

I never had a post on here that's just Bo. All Bo. Nothing but Bo. So this post is all about Bo.
Both pictures were taken this morning.
Bo is officially 12 weeks today and he turns 3 months on Valentine's Day. Crazy! I had a baby 12

Health insurance, smealth insurance.
Let me start out by saying I do support the Affordable Care Act - in parts. There should be affordable medical insurance for everyone and you shouldn't be denied because you have a pre-existing condition.
That being said...
I'm not a fan of the rollout. I was dropped by my health insurance due to the ACA and as a result, I had to sign up for Covered

First grandchild.
Seventh grandchild.
First son.
That is what I keep hearing since Bo's birth.
Now, I do refer to Bo as my first son just because I don't want to keep explaining Ethan, especially to strangers. Unless you're a bereaved parent, you won't be able to understand the feelings of sympathy pity you get. They mouth a silent, 'I'm so sorry' and then you get "the treatment."
The handling of your poor

Remember how I expressed my dislike for the Pampers brand? Yeah. Now I have a solid reason. Let me present to you Exhibit A:
[caption id="attachment_751" align="aligncenter" width="222"] Normally I tag my photos, but I'm pretty sure no one is going to steal this shitty picture. And I mean that literally.[/caption]
Yeah, this just happened. Tonight. Can someone please tell me how in the fuck did poop travel from Yoda's bottom to outside

This kid is permanently stuck on my boob.
I'm typing this post with a semi-sleeping Yoda on my left boob. I'm sure that was a form of TMI but hey, I'm a mom now and my TMI posts are relatively far and few in-between in comparison to most that are out there.
Yoda is now 7 1/2 weeks old. Crazy. 7 1/2 weeks ago I gave birth to a baby and

I'm butt hurt.
No, not butt-hurt like someone insulted me but I'm literally butt hurt. The one thing a lot of these pregnancy blogs and fellow mommies forget to tell me that when you breast-feed in the sitting up position, after a while, your butt hurts. And it's quite painful.
So I've been trying the laying down position. I don't particularly like that one but Yoda seems to dig it so
