Yoda is 17 weeks today (well, yesterday). Let's check on his progress!
According to babygaga.com:
Don't look now, but... your baby is EVEN bigger, cuter, AND smarter than last week!
Yes ma'am, your fantastic little bean stalk has added yet another half inch to their overall height - making them nearly half a foot long!
Their little limbs have nearly reached their proper proportions and will continue to grow evenly with the rest

I know I should've posted this on Monday but I just took this picture today. 16 weeks and some change:
I was compelled to blow a kiss to the camera, otherwise known as duck lips. I don't have to try to hard to make my lips that prominent. God blessed me with these plumpers.
Let's check Yoda's progress this week!
According to babygaga.com:
Over the past three weeks your magical-gro baby has managed to add on yet another 2 full inches of length (totaling about 4.5 inches) and now weighs a whopping 3.5 ounces!
Guess what? Your little lollipop is not so bobble-headed anymore!
Yep, your baby's head-to-body ratio is starting to even out, as the rest of their body - including their arms and legs (the

The interesting thing about keeping a secret is wondering how long you can keep it for before either: 1) someone finds out, or 2) you explode and you have to share it with someone.
Because of our late loss with Ethan, M and I decided to keep my pregnancy with Yoda a secret and not reveal until the birth. Now, it's not to say no one knows; actually, it's the contrary. A

So yesterday was the big surgery. I got my cerclage.
Let's see where to begin. I arrived at the hospital with Maks around 7 AM. After filling out the necessary 'Oh by the way, you have a real chance of dying so we need your signature so you're aware of that fact' paperwork, they had a doppler on my tummy to check Yoda's heartbeat. Once it was found and he

So, we had a very eventful trip on the way to the doctor's. I would rather not go into details about what happened but let's just say someone's getting fired. Anyhoo, we
Today officially marks the beginning of the second trimester for us! Yay! Let's see how Yoda is doing this week:
According to babygaga.com:
Buckle up folks, we're about to head into trimester two!
Your little womb tenant is getting bigger and smarter every day! Their skin is paper-thin and rather see-through, showing off all their shiny new functioning and still-developing organs.
Their sense of taste and smell are more developed and refined while

Mother's Day has a new meaning for me. Not necessarily a happy one.
Last year, it was supposed to be my first Mother's Day with a newborn. That didn't happen. Instead, it was my first Mother's Day and I didn't have a baby to show for it. I vividly recall I spent my day in hiding, away from phone and any social media. I didn't want to be flooded with
Great news! Yoda finally caught up! My EDD is back to the original - 11/18. So flippin' excited!
So what's Yoda up to this week? Let's find out!
According to The Bump:
Things are changing fast. You’re reaching the home stretch of the first trimester (we know, finally!) at 12 weeks which means your hormones are likely to tone things down a bit -- which might make you feel a little less

Sorry I haven't updated. Between being absolutely exhausted and well, being absolutely exhausted, I just haven't had the energy. I'm still tired; I'm actually in bed right now as I type this. But the good news is that I'm feeling a lot better! My nausea disappeared and my hunger is back in full force, which I'm still deciding if it's a good thing. I'm always hungry!
I'll pick up the
