Outstanding

Tomorrow is the big day. The day I get my cerclage removed. It's cray-cray to think that back in May, I posted about how nervous I was to get the cerclage implanted. Then I posted about how my recovery was going. Now I'm posting on the eve of its removal. I never thought I would make it this far. Not that I was expecting the same thing that happened to Ethan to

I’m Lovin’ It – Yoda at Week 37*

Yes, I'm still preggo. I can still see my feet. I can still move reasonably. But it's still a struggle to get out of bed or turning over. If I stretch my legs, I'm risking a leg cramp and I've had a few already. But the end is near. Praise Jesus. Let's check to see how Yoda bear is doing...according to babygaga.com: If you haven't yet delivered, you've reached the calm before

You know, I really need to start being more timely with these posts. I'm totally slacking. :P   Those are my new (read: expensive) glasses. I haven't updated my glasses since high school (seriously) and my contacts in five years. Well, my vision hasn't changed that much in terms of my contacts, but I'm sure they've changed pretty drastically with my glasses. M calls me his hipster wife. I wear that

I’m Lovin’ It – Yoda at Week 36*

Today, I'm officially nine months pregnant, according to LMP, though Yoda is still measuring ahead. I'll get my cerclage removed next Tuesday and it's pretty much a guessing game on when I'll go into labor. Both doctors are estimating he'll be born within the first week of November but I'm still not certain I'll be pregnant come Halloween. We shall see! According to babygaga.com: Almost done, mommy! The countdown to your sweet

Triumph

Much to my husband's dismay, I've been listening to a lot of Wu-Tang this pregnancy. A lot. I'm determined to teach Yoda all the names of the greatest rap group in history. Naturally, I was so pleased to get this gem from my registry! This is Yoda's gift from his Aunt Kimberly and Uncle Tyrone. They also sent him a hat: Keepin' up with the Star Wars theme. You know, he just

I'm a day late and dollar short but I didn't forget about this post. This one is special because it's my BARE belly. Yeah, BARE. Stretch marks, dirty mirror, and all. How far along? 35 weeks, according to LMP. Weight gain/loss?  None. No weight gain at all entire pregnancy. Symptoms: Getting cankles. Ew. Mood: Calm before the storm? I was feeling very overwhelmed for a while but now I'm fine, just prepared now. Sleep: Not much. Been

I’m Lovin’ It – Yoda at Week 35*

Today marks 35 weeks (according to LMP. According to Yoda bear's size, I'm pretty close to 37 weeks).  Let's check in to see how he's holding up. According to babygaga.com: It's getting cramped in here! Congratulations! You’re now carrying over 5 pounds of baby-goodness - not counting their amniotic fluid, the umbilical cord, or the placenta itself. Developmentally, your wee womb-tenant has the fat-factory running at full tilt while their digestive system puts

We Got a Love Thang

http://youtu.be/__ugaiz323k So we pretty much have everything we need for Yoda's arrival. Well, everything but the tub. Finding a good tub is hard. We want a tub that's good quality and can last for at least a couple of years, well into toddlerdom. Though, we did receive this gem at the baby shower: [caption id="attachment_600" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Click on the picture for a link to purchase.[/caption] This tub is just too flippin'

Why

Today is my birthday. Two years ago, I was pregnant on my birthday and actually announced it the same day. It was easier to have people tell me Happy Birthday and wish me congratulations at the same time. Though I did announce to my Facebook friends  and family a few weeks ago I was expecting and debuted a few of our maternity photos, I've been pretty quiet on Facebook.

How far along? 34 weeks, according to LMP. Weight gain/loss?  None. No weight gain at all entire pregnancy. Symptoms: Getting cankles. Ew. Mood: Feeling overwhelmed, as if I won't be able to handle motherhood. Sleep: Not much. Been getting up to go pee a lot more now. Best moment of the week? Hmm...finding a pediatrician. I hope. Sex/Name of baby? Boy, leaning towards Bogdan. Food cravings? Not many cravings but got a weird aversion to eggs recently. Belly button status? Still an innie but
