My lovely friend, Tiana McCormick, and her friends over at Vegan Pregnancy and Parenting, have just launched a vegan magazine, Raise Vegan!
So, I encourage you all, even if you're not vegan, to go check it out. You might pick up some tips, some great recipes to try, and learn more about the vegan lifestyle.

We celebrated Thanksgiving in my hometown of Palm Springs with my family. We were only there for 24 hours (if that), but we had a lot of fun. Way too much food and my parents were anxious to get rid all of it because they were going to see Charlie Wilson at Stateline (gotta love the old folks who have their own lives. #goals).
Enough babbling...here are the pics (no
It's crazy to think four years ago, I gave birth to one of the most amazing persons ever. Like ever.
Motherhood has been a challenge, no doubt. A lot of ups and quite a few downs. But I can't imagine my life without him.
He brings a smile to my face when I'm down. He makes me see the bright side of things. He's my inspiration when I don't have any.
I took these pictures of Bae and Baby Bae over a week ago. I'm not a professional photographer by any means, but hey, I'm rather impressed by how they turned out!

On the days Bear is not in school, we do a lot of lesson plans. Okay, who am I B.S.ing? I try to sit him down long enough for a couple of minutes while I attempt to do lesson plans with him. There, that's more accurate.
Recently, Bear was given an educational gift by the author of Hello Aaaron! Where Are You? Nellie Emrani. It's actually a pretty cool book that
Not really, but it is.
Every year, I always treat the day before my birthday as a New Year's Eve and my birthday as, well, New Year's Day. You know how everyone treats January 1st as the start-over and start afresh? New year, new me, type of deal?
I do that with my birthday.
I feel every birthday is a chance of getting that glow-up on. What better way to figure out
So, a while back, Bear and I went to visit Kidspace in our neighboring Pasadena. We've never been there before so I didn't know what to expect. I will tell you it was so much fun!
Kidspace is a science-based adventure park where kids can do science experiments, play with insects, and just get away from the tablets and video games. I highly, highly recommend it!

There's nothing like attending a music festival.
My husband and I have attended many over the years. The last one we went to was when Bear wasn't quite a year old. We went to see Parliament Funkadelic and other acts. In fact, I can say Bear's first music festival was when he was a toddler:

It's occurred to me that I'll never really posted Bear's school pictures before. These came out pretty good! But honey, let me tell you...getting this kid to keep still and smile took a lot more effort than I expected it to!
People keep telling me and Maks to put Bear into modeling. We are contemplating it when he's older and he wants to do it (I honestly don't have time
We live very close to Dodgers Stadium, and you would think we would've been regulars, right? Not really. Between schedules and well, Bear, we just haven't had any time.
I like to take a stroll down memory lane on our progression. Kinda heartwarming and funny...
We were just married in this pic. Probably not even a few months.
You can't really tell in this pic, but I was 11 weeks preggo with
