We Got a Love Thang

http://youtu.be/__ugaiz323k So we pretty much have everything we need for Yoda's arrival. Well, everything but the tub. Finding a good tub is hard. We want a tub that's good quality and can last for at least a couple of years, well into toddlerdom. Though, we did receive this gem at the baby shower: [caption id="attachment_600" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Click on the picture for a link to purchase.[/caption] This tub is just too flippin'

Why

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HG7I4oniOyA&w=560&h=315] Today is my birthday. Two years ago, I was pregnant on my birthday and actually announced it the same day. It was easier to have people tell me Happy Birthday and wish me congratulations at the same time. Though I did announce to my Facebook friends  and family a few weeks ago I was expecting and debuted a few of our maternity photos, I've been pretty quiet on Facebook.

Future Baby Mama

How far along? 34 weeks, according to LMP. Weight gain/loss?  None. No weight gain at all entire pregnancy. Symptoms: Getting cankles. Ew. Mood: Feeling overwhelmed, as if I won't be able to handle motherhood. Sleep: Not much. Been getting up to go pee a lot more now. Best moment of the week? Hmm...finding a pediatrician. I hope. Sex/Name of baby? Boy, leaning towards Bogdan. Food cravings? Not many cravings but got a weird aversion to eggs recently. Belly button status? Still an innie but

No One in the World

http://youtu.be/VlA7-QS1NnA   As time gets closer to the delivery, so has the anxiety. Namely, transportation. Some background information – M doesn’t have his license. M has never had his license, like ever. He has had his fair share of permits (which we’ll get to later). M has been in a few car accidents which I believe, has soured his want to drive. He was the passenger in all of them. Ever since we’ve

I’m Lovin’ It – Week 34*

I had a doctor's appointment on Friday and Yoda bear is still measuring ahead (he's 36 weeks) but my OB isn't too concerned. He's still predicting Yoda bear will be here the first week of November. I most certainly hope so. I do miss turning over without assistance.According to babygaga.com: Your amazing baby is on the move!Until now, your wee womb-squatter's been living fairly high up in your poor stretched-out

Work to Do

http://youtu.be/08tYrBCgXlU I started packing the hospital bag. I know it might seem early but at this point, I'm just not sure when I'll go to a doctor's appointment and be given the news that I should go straight to L&D. Do I think that'll happen? No. If anything, I'm pretty confident I'll still be pregnant until the last week of this month and from there, it's a crapshoot on when

Spendin’ Money

http://youtu.be/0WUmlGiHHt4 This post is a continuation of some of the baby shower swag Yoda has received. It was quite a bit! Let's check it out: After doing much research, I couldn't decide which breastfeeding pillow I wanted - the Boppy or MyBrestFriend. I decided to go with the Boppy because a lot of my Mommy friends had it and highly recommended it. Unfortunately, I ended up receiving two Boppy pillows (the

This week's FBM post is another special one. It's a sneak peek from the maternity photo shoot. I'm really anxious to see the rest of the pictures. Our photographer (a high-school/longtime friend of mine) took 260 pics so I really can't wait to see which ones made the final cut!   This picture is pretty emotional for a number of reasons. You may have noticed our Molly Bear, Ethan, is centered
