This post is a continuation of some of the baby shower swag Yoda has received. It was quite a bit! Let’s check it out:

After doing much research, I couldn’t decide which breastfeeding pillow I wanted – the Boppy or MyBrestFriend. I decided to go with the Boppy because a lot of my Mommy friends had it and highly recommended it. Unfortunately, I ended up receiving two Boppy pillows (the same one, no less!) so I’m going to exchange one of them for the Boppy lounger.

Choosing a good bottle was difficult and I’m still wondering if this was a good purchase. Nevertheless with some research, I went with Tommee Tippee. Apparently these bottles are as close to real nipples than other bottles (supposedly). I received 9 bottles total and I’m not sure if that was enough but that’s a good start.

I wanted Yoda to have his first teddy bear and I didn’t put too much thought into this. It was really a matter of, ‘Oh, that’s cute! I’m getting it!’ I heard some really good things about the Summer Infant Mommie’s Melodies’ Bear and got it (but for a much cheaper price than Amazon). Yoda has his first teddy bear.

Choosing a good pacifier was a bit more difficult than I expected. I don’t plan for Yoda to be completely dependent on it and I hope to wean him off it around 5-6 months. That might be just wishful thinking on my part. I’ve heard some really good things about the Avent brand so that’s what I went with. I got four to start off with but I think I need to have probably 6-8 total. The green ones I chose because those are the ones the hospitals use so I couldn’t go wrong. The free-flow ones, I chose for no other purpose than they looked good.

Although we did watch a video on swaddling not too long ago, I also feel sometimes we need to cheat. I received the one of the left based on what size Yoda will be for a short while. The one on the right, size large, was donated to us when I was pregnant with Ethan and I just discovered it today. It was a bittersweet moment.

That’s all for now. I have plenty more swag to update in a future post, including the Wu-Tang onesie I wanted! Yayayaya!
