I posted about this recipe before but I decided to amend it a little - I used coconut oil instead of butter!
While the dough was a bit crumbly to put into the cookie scoop, the recipe still came out amazing! I also used cinnamon and nutmeg to give it an extra flavor. I would also add nuts (walnuts work great) but I ran out this time.
The recipe makes about
I've meant to use this meme for a while and finally found the reason for it.
Anyway, this post is about BlackUp Cosmetics. While it's catered to women of color, it's unclear if it's actually Black-owned (I heard it was and then I heard it wasn't). Recently, I test-drove their Lipshine in 08.
Here's my review:

It's pricey. It's $19. This is a splurge.

Doesn't smell like anything and that's a great thing!

So, I like to experiment with my kid's fashion. I'm pretty conservative and basic (yeah, I'll admit it) when it comes to fashion for myself. Honestly, I've always been. I never really put much stock into clothing unless it was for work.
It's funny how having a kid is making me become a bit fashion-conscience. For one, I don't like the idea that Bear is wearing what everyone else is
About once or twice a week, I like to incorporate a completely vegetarian dish in my meal planning. One, it's good to not eat so much red meat. Two, some veggie dishes are well, delish!
I came across this recipe for mushroom tacos and modified it a bit. One, I used portobello mushrooms. I also diced up a yellow bell pepper to add with it. I used coconut oil instead
I recently tried Curl Renew on Bear's hair in another attempt to see what is the best spray for his curls and potential frizz. I have to admit, this is a fun experiment because his curls are well, super curly and there are a lot of products on the market for him. (So, all you curly-haired fans, this is a treat for you!)
Now we know the player, let's review
Here the meals I prepped for Bae for his Bento boxes this past week. There are only four pictures because he accidentally left his Bento at work.
I made honey-soy baked salmon with roasted potatoes and squash.
The salad was leftover chicken Caesar from Panera (and it's hella good!). I also made a ham and cheese sandwich. The dark chocolate and nuts are from Trader Joe's.
The hummus and pretzels actually came
So, a couple months back, we visited the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. I know it's a been a while since I've done a vlog so here it is! I hope you enjoy!

Let me preface this by saying I'm not a fan of Leslie Jones's comedy.
It's not she's not funny; she's an acquired taste. I thought she was brilliant in Top Five. I think her Allstate commercial is hilarious. But Leslie by herself, I can do a give or take sometimes.
In all fairness, I feel that way about many comedians (and I imagine you do as well). They're hilarious to some
