Hello Family!
This week kicks off the long-awaited product review week (that I was supposed to do last week but life happens). I'll be reviewing hair, makeup, household, and toddler products. Without further ado, let's jump right in it!
Hair review
Over the past several months, I've tried a variety of different products for my hair and Bear's. I'll separate the products into different posts so you don't get confused by all

Hi, I'm Crystal! Mother of 1 human, 3 cats, and a glorified housewife to a fantastic man. Let's have fun and enjoy life together!
Trust me...we've been looking for a good one for years.
While we finally decided on this one (review coming later in this post), it occurred to me it would be helpful to other parents what to look for and expect:
Affordability.
Ease of construction.
How many toys it can actually hold.
How long you hope it will last.
Let's start point by point:
Affordability
We actually got our toy chest on sale and that's something I highly encourage. If
Recently, one of my old friends made a dedication to her friends - Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Yes, you can say I know Kim K. by the third degree. Anyhoo, we all know the mess Kim has been in and the recent breakdown Kanye had.
So, I shared her thoughts with some friends (which was a mistake on my part and something I probably won't ever do again) and
It's been a while since I've posted a recipe that I absolutely lurve on here. I don't have a lot of time to chit-chat about this so let's jump right into it!
The recipe is located here. Personally, I thought this was amazeballs. It was a little sweet for me (I can easily taste sugar) but overall, it was great! It's also toddler-approved! Bear had three helpings!

I didn't quite leave but with the holidays approaching, I decided now would be a good time to take a break before it really gets crunk in here.
I hope all of you are doing wonderful and great! We hosted Thanksgiving at our home and invited my in-laws (including the mother-in-law I don't like) and family friends. It was the time to set aside differences and just enjoy company and
It's been an incredible three years. It's been a challenging three years. But I'm blessed everyday. When he was born, it felt like I won the lottery and I still feel the same.
Without further ado, I present Bear's greatest hits over the past three years. Enjoy!

Honestly, I have so much to say.
As a Black woman married to a first-generation immigrant, who we both have gay friends, Bear's godmothers are Latina, and many people under this beautiful rainbow of life...last night's results are scary.
I speak about race on here not to jam it down your throat but to show you how

Over the weekend, we surprised Bear with an early birthday gift by treating him to see his favorite homie, Thomas, and his second-favorite, Percy. (He loves Gordon, too, but he wasn't there.)
First things first, I have to show off the custom-made Thomas shirt I ordered from Etsy:
