It's crazy to think five years ago, I won the lottery.
That's exactly how I felt when Is aw Bear for the very first time. It honestly felt like I won the lottery. Life couldn't have gotten any better.
I just love this little boy so much. He's my world, my encourager, my coach, one of my best friends, and he's just an amazing kid.
I love him so.
I can't wait to
Yesterday, bae and I went to go see Bohemian Rhapsody since we're both huge Queen fans (yes, I like Queen).
We heard some of the reviews about the movie weren't that great, namely there wasn't enough grit in the movie, but we wanted to check it out regardless since we loved Queen and Freddie Mercury. My hubby, being the nerd he is (I'm saying that in a loving way), is
It's been a minute since I've done a beauty review so bare with me here. I recently tried this product (I found it at CVS) and was curious about it.
Even though I'm well-aged and delicious like a fine wine, I still get acne. I have a naturally oily face so breakouts are rather common.
Let's look at the back of the packaging to take a hard look at the ingredients:
Wayment...Did
For years, I wanted a Louis Vuitton. My mother had one. My friends had one. My old boss had several.
I loved the luxury of the designer brand and honestly, I still do. It's classic, it's timeless, and it goes with everything. In L.A., it's the typical L.A. fashion accessory. You'll be more shocked to see a woman not carrying a Louis Vuitton than one who does.
So several years ago,
For my birthday, we went to the L.A. Zoo. I haven't been to the zoo in a very long time and it was my first visit to the L.A. Zoo since I moved to L.A. some 10 years back.
The zoo was much bigger than I thought it was going to be. In fact, it was so big, we didn't have time to fully experience all of the exhibits. Next
Sometimes, you're just tired of eating potatoes as a side dish. And maybe you're a bit over eating roasted or veggies. And you can only steam for so long before you turn into a personal sauna.
I've wanted to make something different for a while but you know, lazy. I finally decided, okay, I'm going to make this and hopefully it won't suck.
Enter broccoli tots.
Now, as a warning, I do
Weird.
That's really all I can muster. It's weird. Not a bad weird. Definitely not a good weird. Not weird.
There's a hole within you that will never close. Sometimes it gets bigger and overwhelming. Sometimes it returns back to size. But it never closes. It never heals. It's just kinda...there.
I lost Ethan seven years ago and I had Bear five years ago. I still feel someone, something is missing from

Tomorrow is my birthday and every year, the day before it I take a moment to reflect on what I've achieved the year before.
While most people celebrate the new year on January 1st, I always celebrate the new year on my birthday. I feel birthdays are a better measurement of progress (and sometimes, recession) than January 1st.
Where were you the year before? What have you achieved in the year
(FYI, for all of the men that follow this blog, you might want to sit this one out. Or, show it to a lady in your life who still gets her cycles.)
So, keeping up with my tradition of reviewing not just vegan restaurants, but also vegan products, I decided to also review sanitary napkins aka menstrual pads. (Disclaimer: I don't wear tampons so I can't give a review on
So, a while back ago...like last month (really, my bad), I was sent some material to personally review. I like to give a personal shout-out to Marc for being patient with me as I reviewed these. I'll leave the video I did with Bear at the end of this post, but I like to talk about the potty packs themselves.
