The Spaghetti Recipe You Must Try!

It's been a while since I've posted a recipe that I absolutely lurve on here. I don't have a lot of time to chit-chat about this so let's jump right into it! The recipe is located here. Personally, I thought this was amazeballs. It was a little sweet for me (I can easily taste sugar) but overall, it was great! It's also toddler-approved! Bear had three helpings! Up close and personal: This sauce

Back from the Brink!

I didn't quite leave but with the holidays approaching, I decided now would be a good time to take a break before it really gets crunk in here. I hope all of you are doing wonderful and great! We hosted Thanksgiving at our home and invited my in-laws (including the mother-in-law I don't like) and family friends. It was the time to set aside differences and just enjoy company and

#TBT – Bear and Daddy

All this month, I'm posting Throwback Thursdays and Flashback Fridays in honor of my men, who share a birthday month! This is one of my all-time favorite pics of them. Maks is very hands-on with Bear. I turn the camera on you, Mommy! Snuggle Bears. <3

Bear Turns 3!

It's been an incredible three years. It's been a challenging three years. But I'm blessed everyday. When he was born, it felt like I won the lottery and I still feel the same. Without further ado, I present Bear's greatest hits over the past three years. Enjoy!   [gallery ids="5852,5853,5854,5855,5856,5857,5858,5859,5860,5861,5862,5863,5864,5865,5866,5867,5868,5869" type="slideshow"]

Late FBF – Bear and Daddy

Throughout this month, I'll be posting throwbacks of Bear and Maks since this is their birthday month! Even Superman needs to hold hands. After his very first beach trip this year. On our way out! Helping Daddy with photos. Taken just last week by photographer David King.

Day Out with Thomas!!

[gallery ids="5788,5789" type="rectangular"] Over the weekend, we surprised Bear with an early birthday gift by treating him to see his favorite homie, Thomas, and his second-favorite, Percy. (He loves Gordon, too, but he wasn't there.) First things first, I have to show off the custom-made Thomas shirt I ordered from Etsy: Cool, huh? To purchase your own, click here. Here are other pictures from the weekend, taking by my bae: [gallery ids="5782,5779,5781" type="rectangular"] And of

#TBT- Baes edition

This November kicks off the birthday celebration of my baes (yes, I use that word and I love it so you will have to deal). Their birthdays are a week a part!  Each Thursday, I'll dedicate a post just for them. So, let's get to it! 2016 Edition: My Buddy and Me. Pumpkin Patch Adventures!

Last weekend, we went to our local pumpkin patch. It's become a bit of a tradition with us. We go to the pumpkin patch and then eat at Roscoe's for dinner. Although our last visit to Roscoe's was less than stellar (it was quite horrible with extremely long waits for food), it was still an overall great day! Here are some pics of us with Bear and him solo throughout

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Series

I know I'm late in the game posting about this and honestly, I was wondering if I should. Don't get me wrong - I'm not 'over' anything, rather I want to make a post that will consolidate everything into one. It's been a so-so month for me, emotionally-wise. I haven't felt like I was in the dumps but I haven't felt 100%. Fall is usually tricky like that. It's my

Our trip to Skyspace!

Over the weekend (and as part of my birthday celebration), we all went to Skyspace. It's a new hip viewing place in DTLA. It's also the place that boasts the clear glass slide. I didn't go on the slide (because I'm terrified of heights) but after seeing several people do it, I'm determined to do it next time. YOLO, right? Here are pics from our adventures! Kids under 3 are free.
