An ER trip really disrupts that flow.
Maks and I were getting ready to finally start trying again this month. I'm drinking my green tea, limiting my overall caffeine intake, trying very hard to not eat so much junk, working out even more than usual...and I still ended up with a UTI.

Over the weekend (and as part of my birthday celebration), we all went to Skyspace. It's a new hip viewing place in DTLA. It's also the place that boasts the clear glass slide. I didn't go on the slide (because I'm terrified of heights) but after seeing several people do it, I'm determined to do it next time. YOLO, right?

I seriously love baking. While my cooking can still be a hit or miss (I'm getting better at it), my baking has always been on point. I just discovered a pretty amazing recipe for chocolate chip scones, and yessir....you need to make these right now!
I should mention these are totally toddler-approved! (And vegan! Just replace the butter with coconut oil!)
