It was our dating anniversary on July 25th. This is not to be confused with our wedding anniversary on March 25th. Yeah, crazy about the dates, but it makes sense to us.
13 years is a very long time to be with someone. I honestly feel anything after 5 years is a commitment and anything after 10 is an investment. I’m lucky we have a lot of couple friends who have been with their partners for a long time as well and are married. I also realize it’s very rare as well.
I’ll keep this short and sweet and I’m not going to do any long and weird ‘this is how I keep a man’ posts because sometimes I’m grateful my hubby still wants my neurotic a$$, lmao. I will say, I love that I actually like him as a person. It’s one thing to love, but it’s another thing to actually like the person you’re with.
I like my hubby. He’s a solid dude.
