I’m just getting into podcasts; yes, I know I’m super 2000 and late with this. But I’m picky about my podcasts.
I just got into true crime (I’ll do another post on my favorite true crime podcasts later), and I follow quite a few writing podcasts, but this is a Black mom blog and let’s get into my favorite Black mom podcasts.
Parenting for the Culture
In Parenting for the Culture, Educator Charisse Sims (and mother of six!) gives insight on supporting Black moms from finding the right school to helping with homework that maybe beyond our pay grade to handling it all.
The Mama’s Den
The Mama’s Den features conversations from four different moms on how to navigate who we are outside of motherhood to finding small corners of joy to remember why you became a mother.
Cleverly Changing
In Cleverly Changing, Elle and Miriam are two Black homeschooling moms who often share how you can be authentic while pursuing your highest potential.
They talk about the challenges of parenting, homeschooling, and uplighting each other.
Good Moms, Bad Choices
If you really want to go against the grind, Good Moms, Bad Choices hosts Erica and Milah are the right ones for you.
Not only are they sex-positive and cannabis-encouraged, they also offered some really great unfiltered advice. Get into it!
The Introverted Black Mom
I can personally relate to this one because I’m rather introverted and always have been, to be quite honest.
Host Shaleah Williams talks openly about what it’s like to be an introverted Black mom as she navigates through life and motherhood. Check it out!
