Sometimes, protesting doesn’t mean going to a protest. You can also protest with your dollars.
In light of everything going on, I decided to refocus my attention to supporting my community more and investing into Black women-owned businesses. Now before the ‘All Lives Matter’ headasses make their way onto here, Black women need support. That’s all I’m saying.
Here are my new favorite Black-owned brands I’m recommending!
Indulgence Spa and Body Products
It says shower icing and no, you can’t eat it. You can most definitely bathe with it and have one of the most luxurious showers EVAH. A little goes a long way so you won’t need to use a lot to get your loofah going. The scents are fantastic and the owner is a dope-ass chick.

Fresh Seed Glow
This shop hails from Brooklyn, New York and every batch is personally made. It’s small and luxurious, though it is a bit pricey. However, it’s a price worth it and I would buy this again and again. A little does go a long way and it does last several weeks.

Greyday Fragrances
I have to give credit to Maks for this one because he introduced me to these candles. Small, but very fragrant. I highly recommend the Calm fragrance because I literally burned it all day and I couldn’t get enough of the smell. It was very relaxing and well, calm.

Ooh Polish
This is a Black-owned nail polish company specializing in colors that will look great on dark skin tones (though everyone can use this polish!). The prices are very reasonable for the colors and I already purchased a few!
