We are done (at least for the time being) with Bear’s room. The transition we made in his room made it a lot more personable and it’s his favorite (well, it should be! LOL).
Now, it’s time to dress our bedroom. For a long time, Maks and I were very simple about our bedroom. As long as it was clean with some pictures and what-not, that’s all that was needed.
However, as we’ve gotten older and our style has evolved, we both decided that simple just ain’t gon’ do it anymore. Not that we have a whole lot of budget to spend on something fancy (and fancy isn’t our style), but we want more than just a bed frame and a dresser, you know?
I’ve been a tad bit obsessed on Pinterest lately. I’m finding a ton of great stuff on there and my inspiration boards are looking so chic. (Follow me on Pinterest, y’all!)
Anyway, here are a few ideas I have in mind:
Now this might be just a bit too bohemian for Maks’s taste, but I kinda dig it. Bear and Sushi might be tripped out by the Billie Jean-like lighting on the bottom, though.

I kinda dig this except for the picture overhead. Living in Southern California, it really isn’t a good idea to have things directly overhead the bed because of earthquakes. But I love the vibe.

This is pretty dope. We don’t have any room for a rug underneath our bed but I can still appreciate it. I love the addition of the pillows.

I’m not really sure what in the Anna Nicole Smith is going on here, but no, we’re not considering this. However, it is fun and if you’re childfree and single, this might be up your alley. Even though I have to admit, the 20-something year-old Crystal probably wouldn’t have been down for this, neither.
Can I just tell you how much I love this palette? Even though this bed is super low, this color palette is my new fave!

This is also another color palette I’m digging. I think this would be more of Maks’s alley. It’s not too feminine, but it doesn’t scream mosh pit at a Sabaton concert. I think he would dig this.
