So, for years, I’ve purchased the au gratin potatoes via box from the store. Now, let’s be clear, there’s nothing wrong with that at all. If you’re busy or if you don’t have time to dedicate to homemade au gratin potatoes, I highly suggest picking up a box to prepare at home. I used to work in corporate America so I know how it is, trust.
Now, I didn’t use that many potatoes and in hindsight, I probably should’ve used five to six more since the golden potatoes were rather small. Still, this recipe was hella good and I highly recommend it. I also recommend you don’t eat this too often because of the fat content (hence why it’s hella good).
But if you want to experiment a little with your cooking (yay!), I say give this recipe a shot.
