Sometimes, protesting doesn't mean going to a protest. You can also protest with your dollars.
In light of everything going on, I decided to refocus my attention to supporting my community more and investing into Black women-owned businesses. Now before the 'All Lives Matter' headasses make their way onto here, Black women need support. That's all I'm saying.
Here are my new favorite Black-owned brands I'm recommending!

Over the past several weeks, I've tried new products on my Type 4 hair and on Bear's Type 3 hair. They all are Black-owned brands and specifically catered to curly and coily hair. One product was amazing, one could've been better, and one, I don't think I would recommend to anyone anytime soon.

I love supporting just about anything that is Black-owned and being a cheap wine connoisseur, I was looking for a Black-owned wine to support!
In support of Black-owned brands, I was super jazzed to see the McBride Sisters' brand at my local Total Wine and More. I'm usually a cheap wine gal - under 7 dollars is usually my jam - but I decided to "splurge" on this brand.
We put Bear back into swimming this year because he needed to do something other than being at home all day and binging out on Roblox. For the life of me, I still have no idea what the hell Roblox is but I digress.
About a week ago, Bear started swimming and well, for the sake of puns I love so much, everything was going swimmingly. *ba dum tss!*

I've always burned sage. I was introduced to it many years ago by a woman at my job. She was a bit eccentric but she was a sweet woman. Very spiritual.
Since then, I've always burned it to cleanse my home from wicked and evil spirits. I don't know if it's working but I can't say it's not. I will say, however, I haven't had anyone I don't want
Several weeks ago, my old high-school friend, Stephanie, sent me a care package. I meant to do this review sooner but then the pandemic happened and I also got a job. Crazy.
Anyhoo, let's talk about the Monat hair care system. It's not available in any store. Not Ulta. Not Sephora. Not even Macy's or anything high-end.
I have to keep it real with y'all. Monat is a MLM
With the news of COVID-19, and the urgency of people to wash their hands and using hand sanitizer at an all-time high, there is also something that isn't talked about - how dry your hands can be after all of the handwashing.
I'm using to washing my hands a lot. Since Bear was born, that's really what we did several times a day. Change his diaper? Wash hands. Feed
It's been a while since I've done a beauty post recommendation. My skin lately has been on point (and before I go any further - healthy living (clean food and no smoking) and drinking lots of water has played a significant role in that), I wanted to share my picks that have made my skin look so amazing, I don't need filters.
No filters, bih.

Since I went natural some years ago, I've become a bit of a product junkie. While I have narrowed my faves down to two hands-down, you can't beat these products, there are a host of others I highly recommend.
Now, as a precursor, I'm recommending these products for those who have Type 3 and Type 4 hair because that's the hair me and Bear are rockin'. However, cowashes are
Disclaimer: I don't wear tampons for health reasons so more than likely, I will never do a review on organic tampons.
I have heavy periods. Some periods are better than others, but lately, it's been bad. I know there are underlying issues at hand, but I also think a part of it is the pads I use. I don't want to get sued so I won't necessarily name the
