Seriously, you're probably not reading this gem.
I'm an avid reader. Since I'm also a writer, it's imperative that I read a lot as well. It was my original goal to read a book every week this year. I won't quite make that goal, but I'll be very close to it by the end of the year - almost 40 books. Not too shabby, right?

Hi, I'm Crystal! Mother of 1 human, 3 cats, and a glorified housewife to a fantastic man. Let's have fun and enjoy life together!
My husband is Eastern European (Ukrainian) so we drink a lot of vodka at this house. There are some no-no's - Tito's, Smirnoff, and what-the-everloving-fuck is a Pink Whitney - and some vodkas that we love. Here's a new one that we absolutely love - Lithuanian vodka.

Lithuanian vodka - no fancy name or title needed - is just like its name: very
Every year, on my birthday, I create a playlist. Some of the music has changed while most have remained the same.
It's a playlist I listen to often and it make me happy because why not? It's a playlist of songs for literally every year I was born!
I'm so happy to share this with you all and I hope you enjoy it as well!
Hello Everyone!
I hope you're doing wonderful and great. Yesterday kicked off prime Day on Amazon for Amazon Prime members. If you're not a Prime member, you should really consider becoming one. Did you know you can also have a monthly membership fee instead paying full price at once?
While there are a ton of choices (and I mean, a ton!!) to choose from, here are my top picks for
So, I'm on the clock app. I don't post on there very much and when I do, it's just to do product reviews. However, I've been induated with many shops offering their products. After seeing how some of them are questionable, I started to like a few of the authentic ones. And just like any woman who shops on TikTok, I choose something to be in my cart until
I have to say it was rather endearing - at first - to be labeled a boy mom. I'm a mother of a boy, so yeah, boy mom. Sweet and simple. When Bear was younger, he often went with me everywhere - we constantly had park dates, McDonald's dates, and frequently lunch and dinner dates. He was rather known around our old city of Highland Park. It was very
So, a few months back, a widely-reported news story about how Lunchables will probably kill you. I was horrified after reading that story since I've always given Bear Lunchables for his weekly lunch. Well, since that's been out of the question, I've been making homemade lunchables for Bear for the better part of the year.
And I must say, I should've done this sooner.
Not only does Bear get
I usually make homemade moonshine for the winter. Usually, we're all home and we're practicing being #teamcozy for the winter. But it's been so darn hot lately (we're hitting an average of 100 degree temps) and when it's that hot, you really can't leave and do anything.
Enter peach moonshine.
This recipe is perfect for cookouts, or just lounging in the backyard, patio, or even in front of the steps
I debated if I wanted to do a post on this horrifying case of police brutality and murder against Sonya Massey. It seems no lessons were learned from the many police brutality cases that have come before her and many lessons will not be learned from this.
Still, as a Black woman living in America, this cases rings too close to home. How many times have I called the
