Technology. The word either scares, intrigues, or excites you. It seems something new is being created every day to make our lives simpler – or more complicated.
Let’s face it, we all have had moments when we’re staring at a computer screen and trying to figure out how and when to press certain buttons and being confused as hayle while we do it.
But there is one piece of tech that makes my life simpler – my Apple Watch SE.
It’s taken me a minute to get on board the Apple Watch train. Part of it was the expense – a brand-new one sits at a whopping $329.00 pre-tax. Another part was how much I actually wear watches. I tend to keep my left wrist free of anything other than my wedding band.
However, I do walk a lot and that was the biggest selling point of getting the watch. I average 25 miles a week (yes, you read that right – a week!) and I need to keep up my fitness goals. Plus, being inspired by an old Apple Watch commercial also helped:
So, for our anniversary, my husband got me an Apple Watch SE. I have to say I wear it just about every day and sometimes at night if I remember (it helps monitor my sleeping pattern. It can tell me if I’m well-rested or chide me for being online way too late!).
Most importantly, it helps me with my fitness goals. I’m more encouraged to burn more calories and become more active in my day-to-day life. In turn, I make healthier eating choices and take better care of myself.
My Apple Watch SE is synced to my phone and my MacBook so I can even unlock my computer screen if I’m wearing the watch. Neat, huh?
I love how I can personalize and choose the watch faces and add as many as 10 pictures that I can interchange as often as I like. Furthermore, I just love how it connects to my iPhone and other Apple devices. It really is convenient on so many levels.
