I think I spoke about this detangling brush before but I think it’s time to give it another applause.
Detangling Bear’s hair is half-chore and half-no-thang. I try to do Bear’s hair every couple of days so the amount of time to detangle his hair is minimal. Sometimes, I have to skip a couple of days and then we’re both in for a very bad time.
After testing quite a few detangling brushes on the market, I finally went back to the old faithful. It’s cheap, and it gets the job done very quickly. Can’t ask for more!

I love how this detangles Bear’s hair, wet or dry (preferably soaked). It gets through all the tangles in no time, and there’s not so much ‘ouch’ that comes with it. After I shampoo, I usually use a conditioner with a lot of slip to get through the tangles and then have him rinse it out, followed by a curling cream. I’ll give more detail on Bear’s haircare routine later this week.
You start root to tip and work your way up. Never start at the root of the hair, because you’ll risk breakage and then you both will be very unhappy.
Furthermore, it’s cheap! C’mon! A great detangling brush for under eight dollars? You can’t be that in Brandon’s economy!
