Okay, I recognize it’s almost May and it’s probably a wee bit late to start a hair challenge this late in the game. However, since I successfully completed my last hair challenge, I needed something new to do.
Now, I have to be honest with my goals here – I’m not going for a certain length, though I did previously say I wanted bra-strap length. I am going for health and strength for my hair. I don’t normally suffer from a lot of breakage or hair loss and I don’t want to start.
I decided to add something new to my hair challenge – clove water.
YouTube is so funny because it often recommends channels and stuff for me to watch and I have no clue how the hell I even ended up there. That rabbit hole is something fierce I tell you! One of my recomended videos was this one:
So, I decided to try it for myself.
I bought these cloves from the grocery store for less than three dollars.
I added filtered water and a small spray bottle (less than five dollars). I probably should’ve used a sieve to remove the cloves but since I’m not drinking this, I figured it’ll be okay.
Now, I’m not using this every day, though I should. I do use it at least every other day. I mainly use it to freshen up my hair before I put in a style – usually a ponytail or a pouf.
I have no results to update for now, but I’ll keep everyone posted with monthly updates. 🙂
What are your hair goals for the year?
