My Christmas tree has never been traditional one color or another. Even when I went through my purple phase, I had silver, gold, white, and clear ornaments to offset all of the purple.
Every year, I like to add a Christmas ornament to the tree that we didn’t have before. Whether it’s something funny, sentimental, or an inside joke, I just like having something there that represents a time period in our lives.
I know everyone wants to highlight toilet paper and masks as how they remember 2020 and I would rather not. I wanted something more special and unique to our family.
Hello, Etsy.
I really love Etsy for so many reasons, but most importantly, I can get homemade, handcrafted items.
OliveberryDesigns is a local-to-me artist who does handprinted family ornaments on wood. I contacted her with my design in mind and she did it at the very reasonable price of $25.
Isn’t this so darn gorgeous?
It looks bigger in the photo, but it’s about the size (diameter-wise) of a coffee mug. Not big at all, but perfect for your tree!
