This year, we’ve been pretty conservative with our money. While we’ve adjusted to buying more in bulk, we’ve also been very careful on what we spend on. We’ve cut out a lot of needless spending and just been more thoughtful about it.
When it comes to your birthday, however, you do need to ball out. I mean, it’s your birthday! Why not?
I was going to treat myself to Tory Burch flats I’ve had my eye on for a while. Maks decided he was going to treat them for me. So romantic!
When the package was delivered, I was impressed. It came in a pretty big box only for a pair of shoes. When I opened the box, however, I was a bit floored:
That’s a pretty-ass box. Let’s see what’s inside:
Nice! What else?
I honestly have no idea what this is. I thought it was a dust bag, but I don’t think it is. I read online it’s supposed to be a dust bag, but I don’t think my shoes can actually fit. I think it’s just a small bag.
And the shoes?
Adorable, aren’t they?
Excuse the ashyness of my feet. No matter how much lotion I put on them, it always seem like I just took a stroll in some flour.
Review:
I really love these flats and they’re super comfortable. The downside is they get dirty very quickly, even if you’re just doing a quick errand. So, I’ll definitely have to get some suede cleaner to keep them up.
Do I think they’re worth the price? I’m not sure. It’s my most expensive pair of shoes to date, and while I do think investing in quality shoes is something everyone should do, I don’t know if I can honestly say with my chest $225 Tory Burch’s is a good investment, considering how dirty they easily get. I guess it all depends on how often you wear the shoes.
Bottom Line:
I cautiously recommend.
What do you think?
