Future Baby Mama

This FBM post is special because I get to debut two pictures from the weekend. A few of you may have already seen these since I finally “announced” on Facebook and Instagram. (More on that in a later post).

Here is a picture from my maternity photo shoot:

We were in my hometown of Palm Springs, CA. I specifically asked I wanted a photo where the mountains and palm trees were in the background. I got my wish. Don’t mind the flip-flops with jeans. It was almost 100 degrees that day. I wasn’t about to wear sneakers.

This photo is courtesy of my baby shower. I used this photo to officially “announce” on Facebook but I haven’t given any other details other than, ‘Surprise! I’m pregnant!’ and it’s a boy. More than likely, I won’t give anymore details until Yoda’s birth in a few weeks. It’s real easy to stay off Facebook when the opportunity presents itself.

And let’s check in on stats:

How far along? 32 weeks, according to LMP.

Weight gain/loss?  Lost five pounds, which is kind of funny since I’ve been eating a ton of ice cream lately. No weight gain at all entire pregnancy.

Symptoms: I officially get cankles if I’m on my feet too much. My pregnant swag (not waddle) is much more pronounced now.
Mood: Very tired. Nervousness about the future. Elated about how far I’ve come.
Sleep: On a very weird schedule. I finally have my bedtime somewhere between midnight and 1 AM now, so it’s better than the 2-3AM I was doing for a short while. Yoda likes to move a lot when I’m trying to sleep! :P
Best moment of the week? Baby shower! 🙂
Sex/Name of baby? Boy, and we’re leaning towards Bogdan (Russian for ‘given from God’) as his name. No official decision until birth.
Food cravings? None really. I’ve been drinking a lot of water and juice lately so that’s probably why I haven’t had any food cravings.
Belly button status? Still an innie but shallow.
Movement? A lot of it. Very active when I first wake up and throughout the day. See above Sleep post.
What you miss? Sleeping on my stomach.
What are you looking forward to? Making 36 weeks!
What are you nervous about? I just want my baby to be alive and healthy.
