Godparents really are the best!
Bear has been blessed by many things from his godparents from clothing and shoes to toys to a custom-made picture frame.
And now, Bear has his own book!
It's a custom-made book about a little boy who goes on an adventure to find the name he'd lost. Let's take a look inside, huh?

What I really love about this book is how the boy looks

I really don't like giving unsolicited parenting advice to other parents. It's pretty simple: 1) It's not my kid, and 2) it's not my kid. See? Pretty simple. While I may not agree with some parenting choices and I may have to silently question the type of parents they are, I also have to check myself. These are people who's doing the best they can or they have

Questioning my faith.
I think every religious and spiritual person questions their faith and what they believe in. It happens. You think you believe something until a moment makes you question everything you've ever known. Sometimes it makes people do away with religion altogether, sometimes it makes people change religions, sometimes it makes others become more secure in their beliefs.
I'm starting to wonder if I was told a lie

Waiting my turn...
That's my theme for 2016. Waiting my turn. While that could apply to just about anything, it really applies to just one thing - pregnancy.
It seems like when you want to have a baby, all you see are pregnant tummies, people announcing their births, people announcing they're expecting...
And then there's me...with nothing.
Now, don't get me wrong. I love my son and he's my world. Every day

Before I dive more into this topic, I need to disclose a few things. While I have a broad view of the world and what things that occur, I also have a narrow view of it at times (which I feel most people have). That being said, I have to share some things.
Last year, I think by accident really, I was introduced to the Mixed Remixed Festival. It's
I love baking. I've always had a love for it, back when I was a little girl. I was always in the kitchen baking something. My mother even gifted me two small cookbooks when I was younger because I loved to bake so much. I'm the type to take three apples and make a miniature apple pie because I want something yummy in the home.
So now I'll present to
I love to experiment with different foods because it's nice to wake up your palate now and again. I learned a few years back I have a penchant for spicy and sweet - think chocolate and pepper. I also like to combine different things to see how they'll turn out.
I found this recipe and I was a little taken aback by it. You see, it doesn't have exact measurements.

I have to admit...learning another language when you're an adult is quite tough.
But I have to keep going. It's fun while I'm trying to teach Bear a new language (don't worry, Maks is speaking fluent Russian and Ukrainian to Bear) and learn more of it myself so I can speak fluent Russian to Bear at home.
So, here's a video of us teaching you how to count numbers in Russian:

And
Here are some photos from Bear from the past year. Gosh, it's so crazy these photos were actually taken around this time last year!

As you may have noticed in one picture, there's a sidecar next to our bed. I'll share our adventures in co-sleeping in a future blog post coming soon. No, we're not doing it intentionally but it's not too bad.
